For the second year running, Lisa Redman and Catherine Seeman are experiencing the thrill of reaching the Grand Final. The dynamic duo from Mack in Chelmsford were spot-on with their trend interpretation that took inspiration from fashion guru Alexander McQueen.

Lisa and Catherine explain the inspiration behind their striking image: “We really focused on the key trends that emerged from London Fashion Week. The ruffles and big hair in Alexander McQueen’s collection were our main inspiration and we felt that this direction really suited the doll-like features of our model.”

The girls faced an agonising wait to hear the judge’s verdict and were the last team of the night to find out that they had made it through to the Grand Final. With the title now in sight, they’re looking ahead to June where they will be pulling out all the stops to win.

“After getting through to the Grand Final last year we were determined to achieve the same success. We knew we weren’t following the herd with our unconventional style so it just goes to show that taking a risk can pay off.”
