Jackie Hamilton and Shelly Maxwell have reached new heights of excellence with a L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy entry that stunned the judges at the Scottish Regional Final’s, securing them a place at the illustrious Grand Final in June.

Jackie and Shelly explain the inspiration behind their striking image: “Three words inspired our look – ‘beyond the pale’. The overall feel combines vintage styling with nude, creamy tones both in the hair and the clothes. Shimmering layers of translucent colour peek through the hair to create a beautiful, soft effect against the sharp lines of the style.”

As they embark on the next stage of their journey, it seems this talented team are unwavering in their quest to go beyond their past successes.

“We’ve entered the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy eight times and made it to the Grand Final in 2006,” explains Jackie. “This year we’re striving for the main title and we’re determined to return with the trophy in our hands.”
