Lizzie Fox from Sally Montague in Derby has triumphed in the L’Oréal Men’s Image Award, securing a place at the glittering Grand Final event at Earls Court.
 

Here Lizzie explains the inspiration behind her striking image: “I felt it was important to move away from the straight styles that have been influencing men’s hairdressing. My look brings out the natural texture of the hair and is full of shape and movement. We studied the catwalk collections during London Fashion Week and identified that attention to detail with our accessories would be key to producing a standout image.”
 
This is the first year Lizzie has entered the competition and she is hugely excited at the prospect of representing her salon and region at the Grand Final in June.
 
“Having been promoted to Artistic leader, I’m taking a much more active role in the creative side of the business,” explains Lizzie. “This is the first time I’ve entered the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy and I’m over the moon to have made it through to the Grand Final.”
